Who do I work with?

There is only one rule for who I work with:

You must want things to be different

Coaching means change - we are not just having a nice chat about how things are, or dreaming about what they might be like one day. We will do some of that; however, on their own they are not a coaching conversation. A coaching conversation is about moving towards something - a goal, a vision, who you want to be in the world and what you want to be doing. I will work with you if you are up for exploring these things and learning and taking action to have the life you really choose.

In my language, this means you must be ‘coachable’; simply:

  • Open-minded and ready to explore what else is possible
  • Committed to the coaching relationship and to taking the actions you choose
  • Ready to get stuck in to your life and having a good root around
  • Prepared to dream, play and have some fun

I work with clients at all levels in organisations from CEOs and MDs, to senior managers and PAs in major international companies, SMEs and charities. There is no ‘type’ to group the private clients I work with. The one way to group all my clients is by the rule above.
